UN Deputy Secretary-General visits Carbfix
Carbfix was proud to host Ms. Amina J. Mohammed, the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, discussing with her the Carbfix method of permanent CO2 mineralization, its immense potential around the globe, and visiting our CO2 injection site at Hellisheiði, Iceland.
Visiting Iceland to speak at a Nordic peace conference, Ms. Mohammed also took the opportunity to observe the effects of global warming first-hand at Langjökull glacier and learn about Iceland‘s harnessing of geothermal energy by visiting ON Power‘s geothermal plant.
